Day 4, 060309!

HELLO ALL! It's already the fourth day. And I felt like I barely slept at all because there's just so much to do. Fortunately, we (roomies&myself) managed to pull out some "roomwork" to do. Tantamount to housework! We did our laundry, bathed and i slept awhile before we went for dinner with the China peers. Back to the morning, we started class at ten. It was our first Business Process Engineering lesson. Then we had our quiz thereafter the chapter conclusion .

At lunch time, we proceeded to the food place just right outside our hostel. Ohmigosh, it's like pasar malam in Singapore but the food here is way cheaper. We had China prata, it's in fact rather "nua" (flimsy) as compared to Singapore's. Then we settled for seats and a Wanton store. Lunch was so FULFILLING! Then back to the dormitory we returned. On came the roomwork and websites visit on our lappies. It was the slackest day we got ever since we got here. We had the whole day to ourselves. So basically, we just bumped around.

Dined with the exchange peeps at a restaurant in the vicinity of the shopping mall we went to last night. Wah, I made a conclusion today. The Chinese Nationals are very harsh. They scolded us for no reason and they are extremely impatient. They would even resort to pushing you and jump your queue. Well, I've heard of such cases beforehand but to actually experience myself really got my nerves cracking. No wonder, Fire (China peer) said "Wo men ning yuan gen Nan Jing ren chao ye bu yuan gen Wuhan ren shuo hao" (People rather argue with the natives of Nan Jing then talk to the Wuhanist). But then again , to each of their own. Perhaps they just react to circumstances as such while others another way. I'm still breathing. HAHA!

This is our itinerary for tomorrow. We do not study over the weekends, will be visiting the places of interest. And behold the pictures for tomorrow's entry!

HELLO MR LIM CHOON BOO ! This is the kind of blanket we received. It's rather big but not exactly thick. Enough to keep us huddled and warm though.

See! There's an antenna. How olden days right! I love (heart) antiques. My mom used to have this "lao kok kok" cell phone (she says ah long ((loan sharks)) use them). The extremely big rectangular one. It's somewhere at home. I think it's very cool.

Mr Wong! These two students of yours kept talking behind. Very distracting you know. People here trying to concentrate! Tsk tsk, hehehe don't kill me!

Wanton soup but the filling is pork i think. It only cost us 3RMB, $0.80. The wanton literally filled up half of the bowl! To think the wanton soup is Singapore cost so much.

Well well, it says "Ai xin jian kang huan bao wan" (Lovely healthy bowl), i think. HAHA!

The provision store located below the dormitory. The whole rack is dedicated to maggi mee. Drop hair ...

They have dozens of badminton courts. And their favourite past time is playing basketball! They even do sports despite the weather. No wonder they excel during the Olympics.

MengZhen is very hungry.

I don't know why but i discovered a blue black on my knee cap. Interesting fact: I got a blue black, the size of my palm when i went for the KL adventure trip. Then i received a cut (while plastering the walls) which left a scar during the Youth Expedition trip to Thailand last year. And lastly, another blue black whilst in China. So coincidental huh? I'm going to rub it. Shall keep you updated on the blue black.

My roomies! We were playing around with the second timer on my camera. So i had to run over, probably explains why my face looks a little dark.

I used to play with such mats when i was young. This is positioned at the foot of MengZhen's bed.

Our toilet has a really good drainage system. Two holes, so possibility of flood to occur is rather low.

LAUNDRY! Home made clothes. The university provides laundry service too but it made no sense to send our clothes there. We need to learn to be independent!

This is Winson's room. THEY ARE THE FUTURE POTENTIAL BLANGAH WORKERS! Hang their clothes like that. See, Xiang Yu is eating his maggi. HAHA!

We took a double decker bus today to dinner. It cost us 3RMB for two persons, $0.80 while a single deck which we traveled in yesterday bought us 2RMB ticket PER PERSON, $0.50

My dinner. The right hand side food item is actually SIEW MAI! It looks and tastes totally different from Singapore's version. Its filling has got rice and soup.

One type of bike in Wuhan. Rain also won't get drenched. Ha!
